Survey shows general satisfaction among Kamloops residents, but points out plenty of areas for improvement
KAMLOOPS — The first City of Kamloops satisfaction survey in three years has found an overall contentedness from Kamloops residents.
Results from the 2019 survey, which canvassed 400 residents by phone, were presented by Forum Research at this week’s regular council meeting.
Ninety-five per cent of respondents said their quality of life is good or very good and 70 per cent said their quality of life had either stayed the same or improved over the past three years.
The lead factors that respondents appreciated about Kamloops were good weather, proximity to green space – and the people.
