KAMLOOPS — There is change at the top for two of Thompson Rivers University’s programs.

The school says Donna Murnaghan retired as Dean of Nursing at the end of 2019 — the same date as the retirement of Bradford Morse, the Dean of Law.

Murnaghan was appointed TRU’s Dean of Nursing in 2013 after more than 15 years at the University of Prince Edward Island.

She was succeeded by Rani Srivastava, formerly chief of nursing at Toronto’s Centre for Addictions and Mental Health.

Morse was hired as Dean of Law in 2015, after a rocky start for the School of Law’s administration. Founding Dean Chris Axworthy resigned in 2013 and his successor, Anne Pappas, had her employment terminated in 2015.

TRU has appointed Dennis Acreman as interim dean at the School of Law.
