JOHN LEGEND DEBUTS NEW SINGLE, ‘CONVERSATIONS IN THE DARK’: John Legend has debuted his new single, “Conversations in the Dark.” The track will be featured when Legend appears on the NBC series, This Is Us, Tuesday. The Voice coach posted a clip of the track on Instagram with home movies of various couples expressing their love. It’s unknown what role Legend will be playing on the show, but in a recent This Is Us promo clip, he appears to be portraying himself as he sits onstage behind a piano. “Conversations in the Dark” follows the release of the 10-time Grammy winner’s holiday album, A Legendary Christmas, in October 2019.

ARIANA GRANDE TO PERFORM AT THE GRAMMYS: Ariana Grande is scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, airing live from the Staples Center on CBS on January 26th. Lizzo leads the field with eight nominations, followed by Billie Eillish and Lil Nas X with six nominations each. Alicia Keys is hosting the event for the second year in a row. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were previously announced as performers. Grande is nominated for five Grammys, including Album of the Year for “Thank U, Next,” which includes the hit singles “Thank U, Next,” “7 Rings” and “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.”

SIA CONTRIBUTES ‘ORIGINAL’ NEW SONG TO ‘DOLITTLE’ SOUNDTRACK: Sia has released a new song, “Original,” to be featured on the Dolittle movie soundtrack. The song is all about embracing your uniqueness and celebrating our differences. “And I won’t waste my life being typical/Imma be original, even when it’s difficult/And I won’t change myself when they tell me/No, Imma be original,” she sings in the chorus. Dolittle, starring Robert Downey Jr. as the title character who talks to animals, hits theaters on January 17th.
