Blazers add forward Carpendale from Seattle as trade deadline ends
KAMLOOPS — The Blazers have rounded out their roster for the rest of the season.
A day after the team picked up import defenseman Libor Zabransky on Thursday, Kamloops added 19-year-old forward Tyler Carpendale from the Seattle Thunderbirds for a conditional third-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
However, Carpendale won’t be available to the Blazers until sometime in February, according to the team. He’s been on the WHL’s injury list, not playing a game all season with an an upper-body injury.
Last year, the Powell River native played in 60 games, scoring six goals and adding 16 assists.
