KAMLOOPS — A Quesnel senior reported missing last week has been found dead.
Ninety-year-old Malcolm McLaughlin was reported missing January 1 but was found deceased in his vehicle on Tranquille Road in Kamloops yesterday (Jan.5).
“All evidence suggests that he was involved in a single vehicle collision and there is nothing suspicious regarding the crash,” says North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson. “His dog Chico was found alive and uninjured and was taken to a local animal hospital until arrangements could be made to return the dog to Mr. McLaughlin’s family.”
The RCMP says the investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.
