Record Lotto Payouts

BCLC paid out a record $785 million in 2019

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops-based BC Lottery Corporation says it paid out a record amount of winnings in 2019.

According to a BCLC news release, the Crown corporation doled out $785 million this year.

The biggest winner was Joseph Katalinic of Richmond, who took home a $60 million Lotto Max jackpot in July.

Rowena Inyallie and George Munro of Merritt came in third on the list, raking in $25.9 million from another Lotto Max draw in February.

The province also had four consecutive winners of $1 million Guaranteed Lotto 6/49 Prizes between November 20 and 30.
