We are saddened by the recent passing of our father and husband, John Braun, on Sunday April 3rd at Royal Inland Hospital.

Johann Braun was born on July 25, 1931 in Winnipeg, MB and moved with his family to BC in 1944. He spent many years working in corrections and running his own business after retirement. He was very active with the Kamloops International Baseball Tournament, and was also a member of the Kamloops Blazers Booster Club. He was a Blazers fan right until the end as he listened to their final playoff game of the season before his passing.

He is survived by his wife Helen, sons Darcy (Gayle), Darwin (Suzie), Curtis (Wendy), Scott (Cheryl), and Dean (Cathy), and many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons John (Barb) and Jay.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Saturday April 23rd in the Coquihala room at the Double Tree by Hilton at 339 St. Paul Street.
