Mr. Richard Engemoen passed away peacefully with his family and girlfriend Mitch by his side at home on April 16th, 2016.

Rick will be sadly missed by his daughter Kayla Lynn Engemoen, father Vern Engemoen, brother Randy (Sue) Engemoen and sister Shari Engemoen as well as nieces Kirsty (Kyle) Brewer, Shauna (Cam) Fenton, Kasha Bliss and Jayden, Kellynn and Hayden. Rick was predeceased by his mother Mavis Engemoen in 2000. Rick left behind many great friends that were with him for many years!

Rick was born on June 3rd, 1961 in Vancouver, BC and moved to Kamloops at an early age. Rick grew up in the family business (Highlander Restaurant) until starting at the Pulp Mill and worked there for 20 years. At Domtar he found his happy place operating large equipment in the Chip Yard. Rick enjoyed time spent out on the lake in his boat and spending time with family and friends!

A Celebration of Life for Rick will be held at Schoening Funeral Service, 513 Seymour St. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
