On Wednesday, June 22, 2016, John passed away in Kamloops at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor, son, Darrell (Carol) of Blackfalds Alberta, daughter Pat (Mac) Tricker of Caroline Alberta, grandsons, Jason Zimmer and Cory (Patty) Tricker, granddaughters Tina Zimmer Pole and Jocelyn (Chad) Tricker, five great granddaughters, Mikayla Watson, Jordon Pole, Colby Tricker, Alyza Tricker, Sawyer Tricker and three great grandsons, Ryan Watson, Oliver Pole and Gavin Leer.
John was predeceased by his son, Delbert John Edward in May of 1975.
John was a very proud man. He loved ice fishing, playing the violin and harmonica, but his main loves were his family and his lawn. John had the best lawn on the block.
A Celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 Schoening Funeral Chapel, Kamloops, BC. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Fund in memory of John would be greatly appreciated.
