Mary Patricia (Pat) Hobson (Brockie)
April 26, 1921 – July 29, 2016

Our beloved Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the tender age of 95.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Jane (Ian) Pace of High River, AB; Brock (Sue) Hobson of St. Albert, AB and Ann (Allan) Soneff of Kamloops, BC.
Mom derived such joy from her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they from her. Left to cherish those special memories are her grandchildren Trish Pace, Donald Pace, Michelle Andresen, Jenni Kreller (Ryan), Kathryn Rozek (Kevin), Matthew Soneff (Natalie) and her precious great grandchildren Layne and Kier Andresen; Cale and Jagger Kreller; Jonathan, Becca and Zach Rozek; Parker, Avery and Hudson Soneff.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Frank in 1989.
Mom was born, the youngest of six children, into a farming family in Hughenden, Alberta. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family, predeceased by her parents Bertha and David Brockie and her siblings, Gladys, Belle, Ann, Betty and Dave. She met Frank while residing in Edmonton where they were married in 1946. In 1980 Mom and Dad retired to Gull Lake, Alberta. They loved their years at “the lake” where many happy family times were spent. They enjoyed all their lake friends and Mom was active with her quilting, crafting, gardening and baking. She remained there until she moved to St. Albert, AB in 2005. In 2013 we moved Mom to Kamloops BC where she remained until her death. 
Mom’s final resting place will be with Dad in Bentley Alberta where our family will gather for private good-byes and remembrances. 
Her family was her everything
