Fraser, David Harold

August 30, 1936 – August 29, 2016

On Monday, August 29, 2016 David Harold Fraser passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his friend Norma and his family: Lila (Gary) Bremner, Emil (Robby) Fraser, Jamie Kenoras, Lissa (Tim) Kenoras, Chris Kenoras and Lynn (Craig) Duck Chief; grandchildren Sarah (Craig), James (Aria), Robert (Catherine), Heather, Zachary (Kyrsty), Debbie, Jesse, Adam, Daniel, Katelynn, Breyanna, Karina, Tristan, Theoren, Cassius and Presley and numerous great grandchildren.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Harold and Mabel Fraser, brothers Jack, Cecil and granddaughter Julie Bowers.
Born in Dauphin, Manitoba on August 30, 1936, Dave was raised at McKague, SK on a farm with his brothers and sisters, Ruth, Gwen, Ralph (Janet), Shirley, Anne (Harley), Doreen, Earl and Howard (Barb). In 1966, he moved to BC and worked as a Floatation operator in the mining industry, working in numerous mines within BC and finally settling in Kamloops. Dave’s favorite pastime was skidooing and drinking coffee with friends. 
Dave and his stories will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street. 
Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Kamloops Hospice of Hope or a charity of your choice.
