It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Charles “Robert” Hart (aka John Henry) of Kamloops, BC, on September 12th, 2016, at 83 years of age.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, children Glen (Verna) Hart, of Whitehorse, Brenda (Doug) Reed, of Beaverdell, Robert (Kim) Hart, of Kamloops, David (Carin) Hart, of Prince George, and Lee (Shinobu) Cook, of Vancouver. He is also survived by his grandchildren Raymond (Kerrie), Russel (Andrea), Gordon (Chantel), Kerry (Lisa), Michelle (Gary), Richard, Tyler (Brittany), Kayla (Aubrey), Michelle (Colby), and Nicole (Brian), as well as 16 great-grandchildren, brother and sister Deloris (Murdi) Pollon, Clifford (Fran) Hart, sister-in-law Dori Murry, sister-in-law Stephie Traynor, as well as a large extended family.

Charles was predeceased by his father William, mother Yvonne, brothers Tom and Leonard, and sister Mary.

Bob was a man of integrity who truly loved his family and placed high value in his friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place between 5:30pm-10:00pm on Saturday, October 8th, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 425 Lansdowne, Kamloops, BC.

The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Royal Inland Hospital, who looked after Bob in a compassionate and caring manner. To Ruth Kortzman and Bob and Kim for their care and concern – thank you for the calls and visits, they meant a lot.
