August 13, 1917 – November 15, 2016

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Margaret Catherine Biggs passed from this world on November 15, 2016 to be reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Ernie Biggs. She was surrounded by the love of her family.
Margaret was born in Lightwoods, Saskatchewan on August 13, 1917 to parents David and Catherine McMillan. Margaret was the second eldest of six children. Margaret and Ernie were married in July 1940 and had four children. They spent many years in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan before moving to BC where they lived in Kamloops and Sorrento.
Margaret enjoyed family get togethers, fishing, camping, bingo, crafts and was active in the communities where she lived.
She is survived by her sister, Doreen Terry, her four children, Beverley (Dennis) Huyghebaert, David (Alice) Biggs, Sandra Martini and Brenda Pack, ten grandchildren, Scott (Pat), Sue (Rob), Janice (Troy), Lisa (Ray), Leah (Mike), Adele (Geoff), Ernie (Nicole), Lee-Anne, Rob (Jenn), Heather (Rob), 23 great-grandchildren, and extended family. We will all miss her dearly.
Special thanks to the doctors and all the staff at Pinegrove for their exceptional professionalism, kindness, respect and especially the love that they extended to our mother, grandma, great grandma and sister. We will be forever grateful to you all.
