October 16, 1933 – December 02, 2016

Irma Hemstock of Kamloops, BC passed away on December 2, 2016 at 83 years of age at Kamloops Hospice. She is survived by husband Jerald of 59 years, children Joel (Rie) Hemstock of Edmonton, Chris (Tracy Shymko) Hemstock of Kamloops, Melissa (Rob Tonnesen) Hemstock of Vancouver.
Irma was predeceased by parents; Sigmund and Emma Ritz and daughter Megan Hemstock.
She received her Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. Irma worked within School District 73 with positions at Oak Hills Elementary and the Henry Grube Center.
She enjoyed spending time gardening, quilting and swimming.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association (72 Whiteshield Crescent St. Kamloops, BC V2E-2S9). No formal service as per request.
