We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our wife, Mom, and Nannie at the age of 70 on December 19, 2016 after a short illness. 
Lynn will be greatly missed by Lorne, her loving husband of 48 years, her six children: Michael (Kelly), David (Lisa), Kathy, Amanda, Valerie (Russell), and Stephanie (Simon), ten grandchildren: Matthew, Alora, Tate, Reegan, Rebecca, Zachary, Beth, Benjamin, Samantha, and Eli, as well as many relatives and friends. Her eleventh grandchild is expected any day. She was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Evelyn McKernan of Montréal QC. 
Lynn was born in Montréal QC on November 13, 1946. In 1955, her family moved to Two Mountains QC where she met her and married her husband Lorne. Lynn left Two Mountains in 1968, raising her family with her geologist husband in the northern Canadian communities of Lynn Lake MB, Ft. St. James BC, Yellowknife and Pine Point NWT, before settling in Kamloops in 1981. When the children were older, she enjoyed volunteering with Kamloops Community Policing and the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. In all that she did, family was first and foremost in her thoughts.
The care and compassion shown by the staff at the Royal Inland Hospital ICU was much appreciated during this difficult time, as were the services of her family doctor and specialists. Should friends desire, the family would appreciate donations made to the Easter Seal House in Vancouver BC for their support in the past. 
Prayers of the faithful will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2826 Bank Road on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 7:00 pm followed by a funeral Mass on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
