June 12, 1959 – January 28, 2017

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Laureen after a long and very courageous battle with cancer. We will miss your smile, wit, style, grace and your unfounded passion for life which included family, friends, traveling, shopping, reading, music, golfing and fishing. Predeceased by her parents Allister and Edith, Laureen leaves her son Cody, siblings Don (Patti), Kenda, Leanne (Sam), Marla, Paul (Melissa), fourteen nieces, nephews, Auntie Ruth, Uncle Doug, cousins, and her loving friend Jamie and his family.

Heartwarming thanks to Dr. Van Heerden, Dr. Tevendale, Dr. Topic and the nurses in oncology. Laureen was so thankful for your love and support. Also, many thanks to Dr. O’Connell and the wonderful nursing staff on 6 North at RIH. Celebration of life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be forwarded to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kamloops Hospice Association.
