MILDRED MARLENE DICKSON (nee WATSON) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Kamloops, BC at the age of 85 after a long, courageous battle with complicated health issues on February 4, 2017. Marlene (Milly) will always be remembered for her gentle grace, abundance of generosity and her selfless, caring nature. A mother to all, she demonstrated incredible strength in the face of adversity. Her positive attitude made the world a more loving place. Quiet, resilient, Marlene was a true inspiration to all who were blessed to know her. Predeceased by her first husband Donald Benjamin Dickson and second husband Derek Moore. Surviving siblings June Drysdale, George Watson, Kathy Coates, Jimmy Blacklock, Bobby Blacklock and Noreen Laurie. Children Roy (Lorraine), Karen (Doug), Gord (Laurie) and Michelle (Steve), grandchildren Jeff, Jenn, Nicole, Shaun, Jenna and Christine (predeceased), adored great- grandchildren Carson, Quinn and Karice, step-son Darryl (Melinda), step-grandchildren Pamela, Geoffrey, Caroline, Andrew, Jennifer and Owen, step-great-grandchildren Keely and Liam. Private family service to be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association (kamloopshospice.com) or your local food bank.
