August 9, 1973 – March 26, 2017

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Teresa. Left to grieve her absence are her parents Luke and Winifride Parisone, her sister Catherine Rombough (nee Parisone), her brother-in-law Bryan and her nieces and nephew Aniella, Dominic and Gia. Also grieving her absence are her aunts Maria DiSalvo, Giuseppina Scipioni, Antoniette Bocale, Jennifer (Russ) King; uncles Achille (Carole) Parisone, Ian Koch and Malcolm (Yani) Koch; many cousins, treasured friends and co-workers.Teresa was predeceased by her grandparents Angelo and Mafalda Parisone and Gustav and Heather Koch; her cousin Ian Stewart; and her uncles Guerino DiSalvo, Gennaro Bocale, and Gino Scipioni.

Teresa was born in Regina, SK. When her Dad was transferred to Kamloops in 1981 she lived the rest of her life here. She was one of the first students of Aberdeen Elementary School where her love of theatre was born. She attended John Peterson Junior High and Graduated from Kamloops Senior Secondary in 1991. From there, with a scholarship, she attended Studio 58 Theatre School in Vancouver for three years. Her love for suffering souls drove her to pursue missionary work in the Bronx, NY, Baton Rouge, LO, Gallop, New Mexico, Boston, MAS, and Alexandria, VA. Returning home she acquired her B.S.W. and set her heart and vision on troubled children and youth. In 2015 she began her Master’s Degree in Counselling and Psychology passing the theory courses with excellence. Halfway through her Practicum, Teresa succumbed to the compassion and work ethic she courageously fought to maintain.

Prayers will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, BC VsB 3H5. Following the Cremation, Teresa will be interred at a later date at Regina Memorial Gardens, Regina, Sk.
