February 18, 1950 – May 2, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Miss Judy Budnyk on May 2, 2017. On this day, we lost a wonderful lady! We will miss her beautiful smile, her laughter, the twinkle in her eye, her warm “hellos” and “hi honeys”, and of course her mischievious nature.

Judy was predeceased by her Mom Shirley and her Dad Onusrey [James].

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Doug and Gail Beamish. Judy was a lovely lady who had a full happy life and she was warmly welcomed wherever she went. She was a member of the Alliance Church and the Crown Jewels Society – the Kamloops chapter is called the Ravishing Rubies. Judy loved life, enjoyed music, going to concerts, her monthly dinner meetings with the Ravishing Rubies, Zumba classes at the YMCA and of course her finger knitting. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, her roommates –Deb, Andy and Launie and of course all her caregivers – both past and present. Judy you were admired, respected and loved and you always gave that back to us.

We invite you to join us for a Celebration of Judy’s Life at her home, 625 Bissette Rd, Westsyde on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

All we ask that you bring is yourself, your smiles and as Judy would say your “HELLO”!

Judy’s body will be laid to rest next to her parents at the Valleyview Cemetery in Surrey, BC.
