In Loving Memory of Gordon Macdonald Hystad

June 18, 1934 – April 2, 2018

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Macdonald Hystad of Clearwater, British Columbia at the age of 83. Gordon was born on June 18, 1934 in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan.

Gordon will be sadly missed by his loving wife Daisy, sons Bruce (Dee Dee), Scott (Marina), brothers Gerald (Lorraine), Wayne (Betsy), sister Elaine (John), 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren. There are also many nieces, nephews and friends that will cherish his memory.

He is predeceased by his father and mother (Joe & Hilda), brothers and sisters in law Len (Betty), Ken (Cecile), sister Lois and brother in law Bill and a son Troy.

Gordon was a logging truck owner / operator. He had a prosperous and successful life with a grade 11 education. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital.

Gordons’ family will have a gathering in the future.
