December 11, 1921 – November 11, 2018

On Sunday November 11th, 2018, Cosimo Nesci passed away at Gemstone Care Centre, Kamloops BC with his family by his side. Cosimo was predeceased by his loving wife of 73 years Raffaela, in January 2014. He was also predeceased by all of his 13 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his two sons, Tony(Carol) and Joe(Georgina), four grandsons Jason (Mary), Christopher (Erin), Ryan (Dara), Cory (Bobbie) and eight great-grandkids. Cosimo was born in Fabrizia, Italy on December 11th, 1921. He served in the Italian army during World War II. He and Raffaela were married on December 28th, 1940 in Fabrizia Italy. Cosimo and Raffaela moved with their two sons to Kamloops in 1954. His family and his garden brought him the most joy and his proudest moments. The family would like to thank the staff at Gemstone for taking such good care of Cosimo over these past two years. They would also like to thank Dr. Laupland for her care and compassion. The funeral will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Saturday November 17th, at 11am.
