Dr Johannes V. Asfeldt, MD, FRCSC, OB-GYN

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Johs Asfeldt April 30, 2019. Johs retired to Camrose, AB in June of 2000 from his practice in Dawson Creek, BC. He resided in Camrose, AB until July of 2010 when he and Janeen moved to Kamloops, BC.

Johs was a dedicated physician who had a passion for missions. He went to Africa 7 times to do relief work. He was a Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow.

He will be remembered and sadly missed by many including his children Henrik (Kathy), Marten (Krystal), Thomas (Karen), Susanne (Gerry) and stepchildren Stephen Sykes, Diane Sykes-Tayor, Jana (Regan) and 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and his wife Janeen.

There will be a memorial service for Dr. Asfeldt at the Camrose United Church in Camrose, Alberta on July 18, 2019 at 1:00pm
