Kamloops conservation officers free deer trapped in fence in Sun Peaks
SUN PEAKS, B.C. — Kamloops conservation officers were called to Sun Peaks Resort today to free a deer.
The BC Conservation Officers Service says in a tweet that officers got a lift from the ski patrol team at the resort, and were brought to the deer’s location.
The service says the deer had become entangled in a ski fence. It was safely tranquilized and the netting was removed from it.
The deer walked away shortly after.
