Kamloops’ Brown rink makes semi finals at Red Deer Curling Classic

KAMLOOPS — Corryn Brown’s rink made it to the playoffs and the semi finals at the Red Deer Curling Classic.
After qualifying through the “C” event, the Kamloops rink defeated Chelsea Carey 6-5 in the quarter finals.
In the semi final round Brown gave up three in the ffirst end, got as close as 6-5 after seven, but could’nt get the steal she needed in the 8th and final end and lost 7-5 to Charlottetown’s Jamie Sinclair.
It’s been the good run for the Brown rink in the last month.
