Halsey Is Breaking Her Silence

Oct 30, 2019 | 6:01 AM

Halsey is breaking her silence on her split with Yungblud, just days after confirming her romance with American Horror Story’s Evan Peters.

In a now deleted tweet, Halsey responded to speculation that there may have been cheating involved, writing, “Sometimes. People just break up. It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f-ed up. Sometimes. It just happens. Because life Is constantly changing. And adults stay friends and move on.” She then added, “Now u know what u know.”

Halsey and Evan were first linked in late September, and it’s unclear when Yungblud and Halsey officially ended things.

Meanwhile, Halsey is headed to next month’s Country Music Association Awards. She will be performing with country group Lady Antebellum, best known for their crossover hit “Need You Now,” on the telecast. The two acts will perform a “genre-defying mashup,” according to the announcement.

Previously announced performers include this year’s leading nominee Maren Morris, as well as Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, for KING & COUNTRY and Kelsea Ballerini. Pink will be duetting with country superstar Chris Stapleton.

The 53rd annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville November 13th on ABC.
