Battle of the undefeated in Junior High Football

KAMLOOPS — In an early season battle for first place in Okanagan Junior High School standings, Vernon Panthers defeated South Kam Titans 14 -6.

Both teams went into the contest undefeated.

It was a 7-6 contest into the 4th quarter when Vernon broke away with a late touchdown.

Quarterback Jessie Peters for the Titans scored on an 8 yard run.
