RIP TAYLOR DIES: Comedian Rip Taylor, best known as the “King of Camp and Confetti,” has died. Taylor was 84. He rose to fame on game shows like Match Game, Hollywood Squares, Super Password, and The Gong Show. He also did voice work for cartoon series like Scooby Goes Hollywood, The Aquabats! Super Show!, The Emperor’s New School, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. He is survived by longtime partner Robert Fortney. (People)

WILL SMITH DISHES ON FAMILY: At the premiere of his new film Gemini, Will Smith brought his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, and his sons Trey and Jaden Smith, along. He told ET that he loves family time with his crew: “I’m feeling good! It’s a good time for the Smiths right now. We’re enjoying each other.” He added that there have been ups and downs, but he’s proud that they came out on the other side: “But, you know, Jada and I, we’ve weathered some storms and that’s really for me, the only way that you can get to the other side.” Gemini Man hits theaters Oct. 11. DANIELLE FISHEL SHARES HEALTH UPDATE: Danielle Fishel says her son is doing well after his premature birth. The 38-year-old Boy Meets World star and husband Jensen Karp welcomed Adler five weeks before his due date; he spent three weeks in the NICU. She told E!: “We are still in and out of the hospital. We’re still getting new test results all the time. It’s still so hit and miss. He’s doing well, he’s home and he’s happy, but there are still some health issues.” (E!)

CHARLIZE THERON ON MEGYN KELLY FEEDBACK: Charlize Theron stars as Megyn Kelly in the Fox News drama Bombshell, and Kelly seems pretty happy with the casting. She told the Daily Mail: “She seems smart, seems like a good mom, so I could do worse.” Theron tells ET of her feedback: “We try to, as actors and creative storytellers, we try to do all of this with integrity, so that was always where it came from. So for her to feel good about that, I’m sure it can’t be easy for her, so I’m incredibly understanding.” Bombshell drops December 20th. (ET)
