Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding: What voters need to know

KAMLOOPS — In less than three weeks, voters across Canada will head to the polls to cast their ballots in the 2019 federal election.

There are four ways to vote in the election. You can vote on election day, at advance polls, at an Elections Canada office or mail in your ballot.

In Kamloops, advance polls take place on Oct. 11, 12, 13 and 14 at the Kamloops United Church east lounge at 421 St. Paul Street.

Polls are open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on every advance polling day.

You can vote now until Oct. 15 at any Elections Canada office. The office in Kamloops is located at Sahali Mall, suite 30.

Vote by mail by applying on the Elections Canada website no later than 3:00 p.m. on Oct. 15.

You can vote from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on election day (Oct. 21) at Heritage House on Lorne Street.

Residents should bring their voter information cars to vote, in order to make the process easier, along with valid ID which includes a driver’s licence, or any other card issued by the government with your photo, name and current address.
