At three-quarter point of 2019, Kamloops real estate market steady if unspectacular

KAMLOOPS — The latest numbers from the Kamloops and District Real Estate Association (KADREA) show a steady real estate market in the region.

There were 242 home sales recorded in September, up from 234 during the same month in 2018. That’s a 3.4 per cent increase.

Sales at the three-quarter point of 2019 are down 7.3 per cent from the same period last year.

According to a news release from KADREA President Wendy Runge, supply remains tight in the city, heavily factoring into sales totals.

Brocklehurst was the busiest neighbourhood in the city last month, with 23 sales. North Kamloops saw 20 homes change hands, while both Aberdeen and Sahali had 18 sales.
