Meghan & Prince Harry Honour Friend

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry honored the friend who reportedly brought them together in the first place this weekend. The pair joined a star-studded guest-list to attend designer Misha Nonoo‘s wedding to entrepreneur Michael Hess at Villa Aurelia, a stunning 17th century property in Rome.

Nonoo designed her own wedding dress (two, actually). In the lead-up to the ceremony, all eyes were on Meghan, who wore a tulle evening dress by Valentino, featuring puffed translucent sleeves and crystal embellishments. The dress reportedly goes for $13,500 and is “sold out.”

The pair flew into Rome Thursday on commercial after getting flack for flying via private jet this summer.

Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Karlie Kloss, Joshua Kushner and Harry’s cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were celebrating as well.

Nonoo and Meghan are tight; not only did she reportedly set her pal up with her future husband, they work together. This month, the pair launched a capsule workwear collection for women that benefits Smart Works, a non-profit organization supporting women. Meghan made Smart Works part of her royal patronage in January.

Next up for the royals is a trip to Africa next week, with baby Archie in tow.
