4-year-old child expected to recover after fall from 3rd storey window in Surrey

SURREY — After falling out of a 3rd storey window in Surrey this weekend, a 4-year-old child is expected to make a full recovery.

In a release, RCMP say around 3:30 p.m yesterday (Sept. 21), they arrived in the 10,100 block of 153rd St in Surrey, where a child had fallen from a window.

The young child had been climbing on furniture inside the residence, slipped, and fell against a screen that gave way. The child then fell from the 3rd storey on to the grass in front of the building.

Taken to hospital via ambulance, Surrey RCMP officers stayed on scene to gather information from other residents, then went to the hospital and spoke with the child’s family member.
