Readers and writers come together for Words Alive Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Writers, readers, and authors of all levels are invited to take part in Words Alive Kamloops this weekend.

Running until Sunday (Sept. 22), the event previously known as the Kamloops Writers Festival features a variety of author presentations and workshops throughout the weekend.

The festival is put on by the Kamloops Society for the Written Arts, and gives people a chance to learn more about their craft, and how to shape written or spoken word in creative ways.

Workshops are held in a variety of locations, including Thompson Rivers University, The Vic,the downtown TNRD Library, and the XChange on the North Shore.
