SELENA GOMEZ PRODUCING NETFLIX DOCU-SERIES ON IMMIGRATION, ‘LIVING UNDOCUMENTED’: After producing 13 Reasons Why for Netflix, Selena Gomez has announced she will be executive producing the new Netflix documentary series Living Undocumented. The project tackles the complex U.S. immigration system and follows eight undocumented families as they face potential deportation. Selena wrote on Instagram, “The immigration issue is more complex than one administration, one law or the story you hear about on the news. These are real people in your community, your neighbors, your friends – they are all part of the country we call home. I can’t wait for you guys to see this and hope it impacts you like it impacted me.” The six-episode series debuts October 2nd.

MARIAH CAREY SINGS ‘MIXED-ISH’ THEME SONG ‘IN THE MIX’: Mariah Carey has debuted her new song -the theme song for ABC’s upcoming show mixed-ish. Mariah debuted the theme song “In The Mix” at the Embrace Your Ish premiere event on Tuesday night, celebrating the new black-ish spinoff series. Mariah took to the stage at the event, where she and mixed-ish executive producer Kenya Barris discussed the song – which Mariah wrote – and the importance of multiracial representation on TV. mixed-ish premieres on, September 24th

‘LULLABY RENDITIONS OF KATY PERRY’ COMING NEXT MONTH: Katy Perry’s catalog of hits is getting the lullaby treatment. Rockabye Baby!’s Lullaby Renditions of Katy Perry features soothing instrumental renditions of songs including “California Gurls,” “Firework,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Roar” and “Part of Me.” The album will be released on October 25th, which happens to be Katy’s 35th birthday. The Katy Perry children’s music album follows similar lullaby-centric LPs featuring the music of Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga, Drake and Tom Petty.

SHE & HIM ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY PERFORMANCES: Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, otherwise known as She & Him, have announced the dates and locations for their Christmas Party holiday shows. The seven-date A Very She & Him Christmas Party launches December 4th in Philadelphia. The duo will then bring tidings of comfort and joy to Washington, DC, Brooklyn, New Haven, and Oakland before closing with a pair of gigs at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Patton Oswalt will serve as opener for the LA shows, with more supporting acts to be announced soon. Fans can expect to hear selections from their two holiday albums, 2011’s A Very She & Him Christmas and 2016’s A Christmas Party. Tickets are set to go on sale September 20th, with $1 from all purchases going to benefit Baby2Baby ($2 for pre-sale tickets).
