Police seeking missing man who was travelling from Falkland to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Police in the North Okanagan are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Falkland man.

Const. Kelly Brett says in a news release that Bjorn Collnes was last seen Sept. 9 at 1:30 a.m. while travelling en-route from Falkland to Kamloops.

Collnes was driving a brown mini-van, which was recovered by police on Sept. 12 west of Westwold.

Family members say a blue mountain bike is missing from the van, and it’s not known if Collnes is with the bike.

Collnes is described as white, 72 years old, with blue eyes, brown hair, 5’7″ tall, wearing a black Harley Davidson t-shirt, grey and black camouflage shorts, and brown running shoes.
