JOHN MAYER IN THE STUDIO IN ‘CARRY ME AWAY’ MUSIC VIDEO: John Mayer showcases what it takes to make a song in the new music video for his latest track, “Carry Me Away.” In the clip, Mayer is featured working inside the studio to craft “Carry Me Away” alongside producers and musicians. The behind-the-scenes footage includes Mayer spending time with his dog, recording vocals and messing with the sound board. “Carry Me Away” is Mayer’s newest song after releasing “Guess I Just Feel Like” in February. The singer also performed a new song with Chris Stapleton titled “I Just Remembered That I Didn’t Care” at a concert in August. Mayer will be wrapping up his North American tour on September 14th at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE LANDS LEAD ROLE IN NEW FILM, ‘PALMER’: Justin Timberlake has signed on to star in the film Palmer, a drama set to begin shooting later this fall. The film tells the story of a former college football star named Eddie Palmer, played by Justin, who returns to his hometown after serving time in prison. Not only is he working to get his life back on track and deal with the consequences of his past, but he finds himself in charge of a young boy who’s been abandoned by his mother. Justin recently wrapped production on the animated sequel Trolls World Tour, set for an April 17, 2020 release. He last appeared in Woody Allen’s 2017 film Wonder Wheel.
CAMILA CABELLO MAKES SURPRISE APPEARANCE AT SHAWN MENDES CONCERT: Shawn Mendes had a special guest on stage with him at his latest concert stop – girlfriend Camila Cabello. The singers performed their new duet “Senorita” on stage during Shawn’s latest World Tour stop on Friday night at the Rogers Centre in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. Shawn wrapped up the North American leg of his tour to the sold-out crowd of 55,000 – the largest headlining show he’s done to date. Later this month, Shawn will be taking his tour to Asia before wrapping in Mexico City in December.
