KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Fire Centre says the lightning storm that moved through the area on Tuesday is still making its presence felt.

In a social media post, forestry officials say a total of 22 lightning-caused fires have been spotted since the storm rolled through, and firefighters have helped suppress them.

Fire Centre officials say no communities are threatened by the fires.

Anyone who witnesses another spot fire start is asked to call it in.
