Kamloops A&W locations grilling up Burgers to Beat MS

KAMLOOPS — Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis support, A&W restaurants around Kamloops are hosting Burgers to Beat MS Day.

Columbia Place A&W manager, Raman Deeb Kaur says two dollars from every Teen Burger sold today (Aug. 22) will go towards the MS Society of Canada. Donations can also be made online, separately in person, or by rounding up the cost of a meal.

“Even if they (customers) can donate a dollar, it’s maybe not going to be a big deal for them, but the money that they donate is going to be for a big cause.”

Burgers to Beat MS runs all day, and Kamloops locations are hoping to raise as much as they can to pitch in to the Canada-wide goal of $2 million.
