JOHN MAYER SEEKS RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST STALKER: John Mayer was granted a temporary restraining order against a man the singer claims has been harassing him since March. Mayer says the guy has been sending him both private and public social media messages, some of which mention the names of notorious killers like Ted Bundy and John Lennon’s assassin, Mark David Chapman. According to The Blast, another message the man sent John read, “You step from me again and I will kill you.” John says the messages “have put me in fear for myself and caused me substantial emotional distress,” adding that the man’s “statements and behavior indicate an unhealthy obsession with me.” John also described how, “after sending threatening, violent and disturbing messages to me,” the guy “showed up to a public place in North Carolina knowing that I would be making an appearance.” Luckily, John says, security spotted the alleged stalker and stopped him from entering the venue.

SHAWN MENDES’ WAX FIGURE MAKES DEBUT IN BERLIN: Shawn Mendes’ new wax figure has made its’ debut at the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Berlin, Germany, on Wednesday. The near-perfect replica is placed on the ground, with its face staring at the ceiling. The fake Mendes is barefoot but dressed in black pants and a tan shirt, with one hand on its chest. The other hand is perfectly to the side for an eager fan to hold. Fans can get their strategically-angled photo while grasping hands with the singer’s replica, which is surrounded by an “outer glow” layout.

SELENA GOMEZ FILES TRADEMARK PAPERS FOR NEW BEAUTY COLLECTION: WWD reports Selena Gomez filed a trademark on her name to develop a range of beauty products for her first collection, under her production company, July Moon Productions. This isn’t Selena’s first foray into beauty, as she launched a fragrance range in 2011 with input from fans. The new range will offer much more than just fragrances now. The paperwork states that the trademark will include “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils” products.
