BTS member V has released a new solo music video. The 23-year-old K-pop star, born Kim Tae-hyung, shared a video Friday for his English-language single “Winter Bear.”

The video follows V as he travels the world. The singer is seen on the road to San Francisco, visiting Chicago and exploring other locations. V directed “Winter Bear” himself and also produced the song with BTS member RM, Hiss Noise and Adora. He said he wrote the song’s lyrics after watching a British movie while on tour with BTS.

Meanwhile, BTS has revealed plans to take an extended break for the first time since their 2013 debut. The group’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment, confirmed the news in a statement, saying the much-needed break provides a chance for the members of BTS – RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V – to “rest and recharge.” There’s no word on how long the vacation will last or what the guys will do with their newfound freedom, but Big Hit implored fans to give them their privacy. “Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off,” the company wrote. “BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have and continue to show them.”

And BTS is once again making noise at the box office. Bring the Soul: The Movie, the third film about the band, opened to $4.4 million in the U.S. and $8.2 million overseas for a global total of $12.6 million since rolling out midweek. The pic even came in No. 10 for the weekend in the U.S. with $2.3 million.
