ROAD CLOSURE

Crash closes Coquihalla southbound between Merritt and Hope

HOPE, B.C. — UPDATE: B.C. Emergency Health Services says two patients are in serious condition.

Multiple ground ambulance and an air ambulance responded to the crash just before 2:00 p.m.

Two patients are in serious condition — one will be taken to hospital by ground ambulance and the other by air ambulance.

Two other patients are in stable condition and are being taken to hospital.

The highway is now reopened but drivers should expect delays.
