Thompson-Okanagan woman dies in fatal crash near Cache Creek over weekend

CACHE CREEK, B.C. — A woman in her 60s has died after a crash on Highway 1 east of Cache Creek on Friday.

Ashcroft RCMP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Aug. 2.

The car was travelling westbound when it left the highway, police say in a news release.

A woman from the Thompson-Okanagan area was found dead at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service says it is investigating the death of a woman in her 60s.
