KAMLOOPS – A wildfire which sparked west of Savona on Monday was quickly held by ground crews. A wildfire which sparked west of Savona on Monday was quickly held by ground crews.
BC Wildfire information officer Nicole Bonnett said the Jimmies Creek wildfire grew to five hectares but crews were able to hold it.
Ground crews and air tankers helped attack the blaze throughout the day.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
