Record-breaking slot machine win claimed by Prince George woman

KAMLOOPS — A Prince George woman is over $2 million richer after simply playing the slots.

Marlyne Dumoulin is the winner of the largest ever Powerbucks progressive jackpot, and she claimed her prize in Kamloops today (July 18).

She played at Treasure Cove Casino on July 13.

“I was just in shock. I thought I had won $2,100, but my husband who was sitting beside me said he thought it was a lot more than that,” said Dumoulin. “That night was so surreal … I wasn’t able to sleep or eat for the first two days. I actually have bandages on my fingers from chewing my fingernails.”
