Vehicle fire closes Trans Canada Highway west of Chase

KAMLOOPS — It looks like the Trans Canada Highway will be closed for a while longer after a vehicle fire this morning ( July 15) just west of Chase.

Drive B.C. says the road is closed in both directions, about 5 clicks west of Chase. No indication when the road will reopen. There is no detour.

Drive B.C. says it’s next update will be at 11:00 AM
