Kamloops man arrested after allegedly night prowling in Barriere

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man has been arrested after an alleged incident of night prowling in Barriere.

In a news release RCMP say Tyler Hawkins was arrested and charged with trespassing at night.

The incident allegedly occurred at a home in Barriere in the early morning hours of May 6.

He remains in custody until his next court appearance, scheduled for Aug. 29. A hearing will be held to determine his fitness to stand trial.
