Canada Day not expected to be rained out in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — It looks like Canada Day 2019 in Kamloops won’t be washed out by a rainstorm.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Chris Emond says today, an unsettled system will bring afternoon clouds and there is a slight risk of thunderstorms or showers later on.

As for tomorrow…

“It will be a bit of a continuation from today. It looks perhaps another degree warmer, with some afternoon cloudiness,” He explains, “I guess the risk of a thunderstorm cannot be completely ruled out, but it does look even less than today.”

Emond says the rest of the week will be slightly cooler with a scattering of showers expected.
