MISSING MAN

RCMP searching for missing Squamish man

SQUAMISH, B.C. — Police in Squamish are asking for the public’s help in finding a 59-year-old man.

In a news release, Squamish RCMP say they are concerned for Smith as this is out of character for him.

Smith was last seen June 22 and reported missing by his family June 24.

Smith is described as:

• White
• 6’2″
• 230 lbs.
• Light green eyes
• Grey hair

Smith is believed to be driving a 2011 white Ford F150 with BC licence plate EA7748. He’s known to be an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time in rural areas.

Police say since Smith’s disappearance they’ve followed up on several leads, but Smith remains missing.

Anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
