Human remains discovered on the outskirts of Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Earlier this week a member of the public found human remains on the outskirts of the city.

Prince George RCMP has not yet confirmed the identity or the gender of the remains.

Police are reviewing missing person reports from Prince George and surrounding areas in an effort to assist in the identification.

According to RCMP, the cause of death is not yet known, foul play and other causes of death have not yet been ruled out.
