KAMLOOPS — Jackson Shepard is going home.

The former Blazers forward has been acquired by the Vancouver Giants from the Lethbridge Hurricanes for a 3rd round bantam draft pick.

Shepard, who is from North Vancouver, was dealt by the Blazers to Lethbridge last July for Zane Franklin.

In 181 career games with Kamloops and Lethbridge Shepard has 17 goals and 56 points.

His younger brother Cole Shepard was selected by the Giants in Round 2 of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

But they may not become teammates with the Giants.

Cole Shepard, who played with the Penticton Vees last season, has committed to Harvard.
