Man arrested after suspicious death in Merritt

MERRITT, B.C. — The Merritt RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a man in that community.
Officers were called to a home in the 2200-block of Blair Street in Merritt on Thursday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. A 55 year old man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
Staff Sgt. Lorne Wood says the Southeast District Major Crime Unit has been called in to assist the investigation.
